Okay. So, I was gonna wait until someone read my new draft of Emma waking up in Strangerland just to make sure that it didn't suck but no one seems to be that interested in helping me out with that. So I'm like whatever, I'm just gonna do it. Emma can have two necklaces and Sabastian and Eclipse will NOT be guards when they find her. I'm liking the change, so let's just do it.

Question though. Before, when Eclipse was promoted, he got his own room. Now however, I'm kind of thinking that he should have to room with Sabastian after they get appointed. Cause I mean, they're not special right now. So wy would they get their own rooms?

Also! If there's two of them, then Emma would probably want to thank both of them for bringing her Home. So I have two options there. If they each get their own room then I can be like, oh yeah. Emma tried to thank Sabastian but he didn't answer the door when she knocked. Maybe he was alseep or something. And if they share a room Sabastian will probably be in the shower and Eclipse will answer the door. She'll kiss him and then run off cause she's late or she'll kiss him and then before she leaves Sabby will come out of the shower and she can be like "I just wanted to thank you!" And then run off. Caus she likes Eclipse. She's not gonna kiss both of them and if she does kiss both of them, she's only kissing Sabastian on the cheek. Ya know? Sooooooo...... Input?

Oh yeah and orientation was epic, btw. Fun stuff.

...Where is My Mind?

Okay, so maybe it wasn't my very next post. But I did tell ya'll that I was gonna post about Emma's necklace, so I don't wanna hear any whinning about it. Got it?! ....Good.

Alright then. Um, I can't remember whether I've ever mentioned this before or not but in my original verison of my character Emma, Emma always had a necklace that was given to her by Aiden and Hiroshi when she was a little girl and of course Angel would have a matching one. And for Emma, since she was lost, it would be like Anastiasia's necklace, the only link she has to her past. It wouldn't say "Together in Paris" though. Hahaha.

I would have it be engraved with her name so as to eliminate the possiblity of Cassandra renaming her when she finds her and such like baby Hercules.

And when she returns to Zarius, she would still have it. Maybe Angel and Emma could have a moment when they're reunited to talk about that. However, I recently found that I've been so hung up on changing plot details and the tiny tiny things that no one who reads the book will probably ever notice anyway, that I've barely even mentioned Emma having a neclace at all! And when I do make mention of it, I say that it's Cassandra's necklace, the only thing that Emma took when her mother died! And why did I do that? Because Emma was very very close to her mother and I feel that she should have something from her mother that she can keep with her always, so I gave her, her mother's locket. Which is of course, a reference to the locket that my Grandmother gave me, even though Aurora is more based on my grandmother then Cassandra is. So.... There you have it. I guess that my problem is that I'm not sure whether I should give her two special necklaces or ditch the Hercules/Anastasia thing all together. I mean, I could do two. But I don't know if I should.

Ummmm, anything else? Let's see.... Nope. Not that I can think of. Okay then. Toodles!



Hallelujah!

Okay. So who remembers my friend Tim? No, not the scuzzy, ex boyfriend, asshole Tim. My friend Tim. He's literally one of the sweetest guys that I've ever met and he's really funny and cute too! And he loves Soccer and he tutors at the ARC and he's just a great guy. Unfortunately, he also has a Kidney Disease and has had to be on dialysis for a long time.... Well, um, I don't really know how to say this. But... TIM'S GETTING A NEW KIDNEY!!!?!!?!?! Isn't that amazing?! Ohmigosh, I am so unbelievably happy for him! And relieved too! He was so depressed... But now everything is going to be better for him! And I'm so, so happy! Like I've been spazzing out about this for like two hours now. Maybe longer. Cause like, he'll be able to play Soccer again?! And that's his favorite thing in the whole world!! It's a miracle! Hehehe. <3

Anyway, he goes in for surgery on Tuesday. And he's a great guy and he really deserves this chance, so everyone keep him in your prayers and wish him a speedy recovery!

Oh yeah! And he said that he's gonna try and come to my going away party too, so you can all congratulate him in person as well! Yaaaaaaay! <3

Okay, so I want to start out this post by saying thank you to Wolf for actually giving me some helpful opinions for the first time in awhile. Thank you Wolf Cakes, I appreciate it. <3

NOW ONTO TEH BUSINESS BRO?!

This post shall be relevant! And thought provoking! Hopefully.... Anyway, I was thinking the other day that maybe it would make a more interesting start to my story if Eclipse wasn't a Royal Guard when he finds Emma, but rather just some random guy. But why you say would some random guy be looking for the long lost Princess of Zarius? I've got that figured too! What I was thinking that maybe Eclipse and Sabastian have tried several times to get into the guard and they keep getting turned away and after a few tries they decide that the only way to get into the guard and fulfill THEIR LIFES DREAM is to do something really impressive in service of the King and then ask to be made guards as their reward, because I've decided that that happens sometimes. Worked in The Three Musketeers after all. So, that would be their motivation to find Emma. But! Travel to the Human World must be sanctioned by the King! Because we can't be having 8 million Vaikas running around Earth mucking up the place. So, Eclipse and Sabastian would have to be very sneaky about it. Which is fine, whatever.

Um, I think that it might be a little less cliche then having Eclipse promoted to Captain of the Guard and all ready being a pretty big Hero and all that shit right at the very beginning. It also might give Aiden another reason to rage when Eclipse and Emma get together. Something else to fuel that fire. And once again, I'd be creating more work for myself because I'd have to change the scene where Emma wakes up in a weird place and write something about Sabastian and Eclipse taking her to the castle and all that kind of crap, buuuuut I'm thinking that this might be a good change. Thoughts and opinions are welcomed, but only if their helpful. Hahaha <3

Suicide is Painless

I believe that M*A*S*H is one of the most influential shows that has ever been on the air because it is one show that can honestly speak for an entire generation of people. The show chronicles the lives of the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff of the Mobile Army Surgical Unit 4077th in Uijeongbu, South Korea. The show premiered in September 17, 1972 while the Vietnam War was being fought over seas which automatically made M*A*S*H not only unique, as it was about war in a time of war, but controversial as well. But that's not really what makes M*A*S*H special, what makes M*A*S*H special is the combination of drama and comedy, but also the sheer honesty of it. The writers of M*A*S*H wanted the show to be authentic, so they interviewed active duty Army Surgeons and based episodes of the show on their stories. Which immediately gave the characters a depth that couldn't have developed otherwise and gave the show a real-ness that you couldn't ignore. No character demonstrates that better then Captain Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Peirce as brought to life by Alan Alda.

Hawkeye is the comic relief. He's an average guy and an extraordinary surgeon stuck in a horrible situation and he deals with it through humor. Hawkeye is also a lot of times the person who reminds us that war is no laughing matter, and there's something admirable about that. The way that Hawkeye can be a womanizing prankster without ever forgetting the reason that they're here, to save lives. I think that a great example of this can be found in the episode "Yankee Doodle Docter." When Lieutenant Bricker comes to the 4077th and attempts to make an Army Propaganda film about the surgeons in the Army, Hawkeye and Trapper steal the film and reshoot it, depicting themselves doing Grucho and Harpo Marx impersonations. Then at the end of the film, Hawkeye takes his costume off, sits down and records an honest message of what it's like to work in his unit. He tells us that there's no glory in this work, that they do "meatball surgery" and that a lot of the time, the most they can do is remove the shrapnel and send them to Tokyo for medical attention. And it's moments like that, that made this show the phenomenon that it is. M*A*S*H was on the air for 11 seasons. The show lasted longer then the actual Korean War, and remained on the air long after the Veitnam War ended, because there were so many soliders stories that needed to be told.

The final episode of M*A*S*H, entitled "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" premiered on, February 28, 1983 and according to The New York Times, it was the most watched television episode in history at the time, with an amazing 125 million viewers. Since it's premier M*A*S*H has never been off the air, reruns are shown regularly and stores have always kept the series in stock. Why? Because a show like this does not become "dated" like Little House on the Prairie. M*A*S*H told the stories of countless of enlisted men and women and spoke for a generation and it's still speaking to us today.

Well as per usual your responses were nothing short of positively non responsive. Soooooooo, I've decided fuckit. I'm just gonna do it cause I already have the scene written and it's epic and emotional and I wanna use it. So now the order is as follows, prologue in which Aiden banishes Kerian for killing their Father. Then the first chapter which starts with Emma having a dream about they night that she was lost. Then everything else is the same..... Well sort of. I've changed the plot progression again. If anyone decides that they care enough to ask about the new plot progression then I'll post the events again. But I won't bother with that unless someone actually cares. Annnnnd that's it for today.

A Level of Ineptitude That Borders on the Imbecilic

Soooo........ Not that anyone cares, but I am working on the scene in which Aiden addresses the Imperial Court. Now, I've written about two pages worth of dialouge in which Aiden tells his dear friend Kiara, who (for those of you that don't pay any attention) is the Empress of Rayet, all about what's happened and how his evil brother has returneded from exile on a mission to destroy everything. And then I stopped and was like, do I really want to write all this and then have to re-explain it to the whole court? Or should I simply write a transition in which I simply mention that Aiden restates all of that information? Well..... Phuck if I know Bros!

I like the exchange between Aiden and Kiara because they're friends and allies, they kind of grew up togeteher in the same way that Angel has grown up with Andromina, so it makes sense that she would be more concerned for him then the others. It also makes sense that he would be more open with her then he would with the entire court. Which is nice. I like opening Aiden up now and then. However, I don't know what's best for the scene. I may have to write it both ways and then ask for an opinion from you all, but oh wait, you guys never give me an opinion when I really need one. -glare- So, as usual, I'll just wing it. But if by some miracle, someone does feel the need to comment with anything helpful then your input is always welcome Dears.

The Bang Whack Wiggle Wiggle

Okay, soooooo, I need help Bros. Remember when I was talking about Emma's powers and I ended up breaking down and changing her Tiger-ness to Panther-ness because I wanted her tail to be black and not striped? Well.... I'm not so sure about that anymore. Cause, as anyone who actually knows me will tell you, Tigers are near and dear to my heart and they're endangered and their preservation is like one of the number one causes out there that I support. So, Tigers are a big deal to me. Which is why I made Emma a Tiger in the first place. But then I started thinking that the stripes on her tail might look funny. Which is why I changed it to a Black Panther. But.... I'm really not sure about that anymore.

Not that I don't love Panthers and not that they don't need our attention just as much as Tigers do, I just have a soft spot for the big striped cat. So, what do I do? Go back to the Tiger for it's personal meaning to me, in hopes that I might preach a little conservation in the process. Stick with the Panther for it's sleek black look. Veer off to the left and choose a Snow Leopard because they're so damn cute. Go way off the map and chose a Puma because the Puma is the big cat that's closest to the Fox's level. I don't know!

Nice, Unshaven, Young People

As per usual, you guys are killing me with the overwehelming response to my requests for opinions. And thank you so much for that. Your silence is.... Well, it's annoying really. But whatever BEST FRIENDS, I'll just do it myself. Hahaha.

Anyway, what do I have to post today? Ummmm, not too much. Let's see, I've basically finished the final battle section of my book. Still struggling with Aiden's dramatic pre-battle speech, which no one seems to want to help me with. I was kind of thinking that Aiden feels horrible about this whole thing maybe he should apologize for being to weak to destroy his brother twenty years ago and thank everyone for standing by him even though this is all his fault but I was told that that's "wussy" and would ruin his sense of honor or something like that? Which I don't think that it would. I think it's very mature. But, part of writing a good story is making sure that everyone gets it and I want people to see Aiden's side of things and feel like he's an excellent King because he really is, so ya know maybe that's not the way to go after all.

Umm, I decided to keep the scene in which Blaise rips Eclipse a new one for almost letting me die, like 10 minutes before the wedding. Hehehehe. I'm actually making it even more intense. Oh! And ya know what I noticed the other day when I was doing a cursory reading of my novel? Blaise swears more then any character in the whole book. He swears like a sailor! Oh Boy! Hahaha. Like in the course of the book Hiroshi swears like once. Emma swears once. Fiore swears a little. Angel and Aiden swear a little more. And then Blaise is just like AWR RAWR RAWR RAAAAWR?! It was actually kind of amusing for me too realize this. Hahaha.

And um, I literally just got side tracked and left this up and untouched for over an hour. Hahaha. Guess that means that I'm done now. Bye Bros! And don't forget to wish me luck with my scholarships! I've applied to like 3 a day for the past two months. Hahaha

Laundromat of Love, Kitchen of Starvation

Okay. So, this post is about Hiroshi. As you all should know, but probably few actually remember, Hiroshi is afraid that his husband is going to die in the final battle because Kerian is a crazy bastard and what not. And it is a just fear because Aiden does die! But only temporarily, because as a few of us know, Hiroshi broke all the laws of nature and things like that, crossed over the line into the realm of dark magic and whatever to create THE HIGH PRIESTESS SOLESTINA'S PHOENIX?! (Inspired by an episode of Warehouse 13, don'tcha know. Thank you so much for blowing up the Warehouse and killing Artie, MacPhearson. Hahaha.) Which has the power to resurrect someone who has died, but ONLY if they happen to be holding it when they die. Which is all well and good. NOW! Originally, I was just planning on having Hiroshi give Aiden the Phoenix the night before the battle. But it was suggested to me.... um, like 3 years ago, that I should do a scene about Hiroshi making the silly thing. Which might be interesting, though at the moment I don't actually have a specific process for making the Pheonix in mind. So, I'd have to think one up. Also, if I do add this scene then I'd want it to be more then just Hiroshi making this thing. And I think that I'd want it to be rather dramatic. Cause it's dangerous to make one of these things, it's hard and if you do it wrong you can kill someone and all that nonsense because if it weren't then why would it be forbidden, right? Hahaha. So, what I would do if I add this scene would be to have Hiroshi make the thing and then right at the end when he adds his blood or something like that, something will happen and it'll blow him through a wall or he'll collapse or something. And then I'm thinking that either Fiore or Krystal will have to find him, because they've got the least going on in this particular storyline. But wait! Dangerous and forbidden nonsense going on in Aiden's house and Aiden doesn't know about it? No surely not. That's highly unrealistic! Yes it is, but I've got this totally covered. If I add this scene it will take place while Aiden is at or on route for his meeting at the Imperial Club House because if I were doing something sneaky and illegal to save my husband's life that I know very well that he would protest too then I would do it when he was otherwise engaged. Cause that's just common sense no? Totally! Hahahaha.
